Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a true delight. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and tea plantations. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The location, nestled in an old tea factory amidst the tea fields, was simply wonderful. Although the dining experience was so-so, overall, it's a fantastic place to stay.
The hotel was a bit pricey for a night's stay, but if it included an evening meal, it would have been just right. The room with a balcony was fantastic and spacious, with 2 superb bathrooms. It was clean, had A/C, and even a heater although we joked about not needing it.
The hotel offers a lovely view of the valley with lush green tea bushes, and the rooms were at the front overlooking the plantation with plenty of hot water in the bathrooms. The soundproofing could be better, but the service area and car park view was compensated by the hills of Nuwara Eliya in the background.
I felt like I was in an Agatha Christie novel while walking around the property surrounded by beautiful tea fields. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and nicely furnished, offering an amazing view of the valley and hills from the first floor. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who truly embodied the heritage of Sri Lanka. The dining experience exceeded my expectations, with a delightful buffet that I would highly recommend indulging in. Overall, the location, set amidst the tea plantations, was truly breathtaking, offering a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
