Staying at this hotel was a true delight. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and tea plantations. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The location, nestled in an old tea factory amidst the tea fields, was simply wonderful. Although the dining experience was so-so, overall, it's a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel was a bit pricey for a night's stay, but if it included an evening meal, it would have been just right. The room with a balcony was fantastic and spacious, with 2 superb bathrooms. It was clean, had A/C, and even a heater although we joked about not needing it.

The staff were fantastic, all kitted out in period outfits and very keen to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. The train manager was extremely enthusiastic. Room service, car hire, and other facilities were exceptional.

The hotel's high location in the tea plantation hills offered a fabulous setting, though we were disappointed with the mist on arrival. Mr Muttu from housekeeping was excellent. The sustainability report was impressive.

The hotel offers a lovely view of the valley with lush green tea bushes, and the rooms were at the front overlooking the plantation with plenty of hot water in the bathrooms. The soundproofing could be better, but the service area and car park view was compensated by the hills of Nuwara Eliya in the background.
